The day was so cold. Everyone was busy with their job at the laboratory. But George was still on bed. He could not sleep in the last night.
“Mr. James we can’t work without you”
George started at Thompson who was sitting on the bed near to him.
“I have a doubt professor.”
“You can ask .”
“You said that General had explained it clearly. But you had also said that only an intellectual giant can explain such a complicated theory. Then how could the General did it?”
“That is not a matter. We can’t question him. And in physics we want only solution . No matter who said it.”
“Don’t you think anything mysterious in it?”
“Leave it man. Let’s go for job.”
George jump out of his bed. But eyes were looking for some solutions. He began his day mechanical.
This time John and Kevin was simply walking around the tourist places near the laboratory. They could find a “bungalow” .
“Wow look at that a bungalow in the snow desert.”
Kevin laughed at John.
“It is not silly Kevin. It must be the residency of a higher official of the Polar Union. Don’t you see the emblem on the gate?”
“Yes who will be that?”
“Sometimes we could find Madrine there.”
“Oh sounds good.”
“There is a guard. We can ask to him.”
They walk towards the gate. There a guard stands with a heavy gun. He was watching all around the gate.
“Hello sir we are tourists, and we are interested to see this building.”
“Do you have any appointment?”
Guard replied to Kevin.
“Oh no sir. Actually we came to the harber. And while walking through this way we could find this building.”
“Don’t you have a guide?”
“No we even lost our travel documents. And was walking for many days.”
“This is a protected area you can’t get in .”
“No sir we just…”
“I said no… Go away …. Don’t make trouble.”
“Who is that?”
A soft voice came from the building.
“We are tourists,and we lost our documents. Please help us.”
This time John said little bit louder.
“Ok , get in”
She said
“But madam I can’t do this.”
“I will take the responsibility. You don’t have to worry. We have to help citizens like them.”
The guard opened the gate. Kevin stared at him. John couldn’t understand what was going on. All they know is that they got a shelter after searching for more than a week.
The girl was walking so fast so that they couldn’t follow. Even they were in a confusion.

“Oh sorry, Iam John and this is my cousin Kevin.”
” Ok you can stay in the out house. You can change your cloths now, It is smelling so bad. I will serve food for you. You had said that you had said that you was searching for a shelter more than a week.”
“Yes actually our uncle loves to travel. But in this journey we lost communication.”
“Ok.”
“We troubled you so much.”
“No you actually gave me a pleasant atmosphere. I can’t suffer this loneliness any more. I think I got new friends. So iam happy to see you. “
She smiled and stepped into the big house. They walk towards the building near to it. The building looks like an ordinary house. They opened the dore and sat on the sofa.
“Could you know we are in the house of wrong person.”
“How could you say wrong Kevin. Life is a grand play . So wait this will give us some lead in this problem. “
“But Katherine is friendly.”
“Yes.”
John smiled at Kevin.
They walked into the big building. At the centre hall there was a long table. General was eating his breakfast at one end of the table. Katherine entered to the hall through the door at the opposite side .
“Oh please come and sit. Meet my father.”
“Who are they?”
General raised his voice. They came and sat on near Katherine.
“Here is my new friends. They was searching for a shelter. And…..”
“Ok ok they might be tourists. Isn’t they ?”
“Yes.”
“So my daughter is happy to have new friends.”
“Yes father.”
General smiled at them . The smile has a terrible sound. That still made confusions in John.
